AUTO-BLiP automatically adjusts engine speed as you downshift by "blipping" the throttle - bringing engine RPM closer to wheel speed so gear changes are smoother instead of abrupt. This lets you focus on braking and steering instead of manually rev-matching. By reducing that mismatch, AUTO-BLiP lessens the destabilizing engine-braking effect that occurs on a downshift, improving vehicle balance. Better balance means better handling, and better handling means faster lap times.
